Tavistock Community Sports Centre
Based at Tavistock College, Tavistock Community Sports Centre is a community based facility providing a diverse range of leisure activities for local people. The sports facilities offer you the ultimate experience. As well as a fully equipped 33 station fitness suite we also offer a wide range of fitness classes to suit all abilities. Let our experienced staff help you choose the right exercise programme. This begins with a basic induction in the use of equipment which is then followed by a personal, comprehensive fitness and lifestyle assessment.
In addition to the fitness suite the centre boasts two multi purpose sports halls, one of which has a fully sprung floor, full size basketball court, cricket nets and climbing wall. A state of the art, air conditioned and mirrored dance studio, and a multi use exercise room.
Further to these indoor facilities we can boast a competition standard athletic track, a full size 3G all weather football pitch, both of which are fully floodlit, as well as a number of grass pitches.

(Fixed term for one year due to budgetary constraints)
Based in our Community Sports Centre, this is an all year round post worked flexibly
over 37 hours each week to include evenings and weekends.
The successful applicant will require proven experience within a sports centre environment, be visionary and driven towards delivering a high class service. All applicants will be required to demonstrate their commitment to offering high quality sports inclusive to all. Applicants will need to be customer focused and have experience to lead team of staff.
The centre is open 5.00pm until 10.00pm weekdays and during the day at weekends.
Closing date for applications : 19 March 2012 at 9.00am
